100 Word Stories 197 - Whatever you choose

Here is my entry for the 100 Word Stories weekly challenge podcast. The topic for Weekly Challenge #197 is "Whatever you choose..." A pile of coins were poured out of a small brown bag down on the table. Johnny looked at them and was silent. âWell? Are you going to take any?â Johnny looked up with a confused look on his face. âWhich ones can I have?â The man gave a chuckle. âWhatever you chooseâ¦â Johnny started to reach out for the largest coin. âbut not that one!â Johnny pulled his hand back and started to reach for another large coin. âNot that one either!â Johnny sat silently and then threw a dagger into the pirateâs forehead.
